Descripció
The small area socioecononomic index is an index based on six variables regarding the work, studies, migration and income situation of all population in each of these areas, which entail from 5,000 to 20,000 inhabitants each. It has been made by the Catalan statistics institute (Idescat), published in April 2021 with data of 2018. The average of Catalonia in this index is 100. A higher value is a better socioeconomic situation than the Catalan average, and a lower value, a worse status.
